Before joining Persona Law Group as independent counsel, Daniel founded DT Law which served the region from Pembroke to L’Orignal. Since 2003, he practiced throughout Ontario including a well-established law practice in the east end of Ottawa.
Daniel received his law degree from l’universite de Moncton which is the only Common Law unilingual French law school in the world. Upon his graduation in 2002, he moved back to Northern Ontario where he completed his articles, predominantly in the area of Family Law. Following his articles, he developed his Family Law practice in Toronto until moving to Ottawa in 2008.
Daniel has been involved in the community through youth sports for over five years. In the summer, he devotes his time to youth soccer and in the winter he can be seen coaching house league hockey with the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association.
He believes the best way to give back to the community is by working with children and teaching them the same values he was taught as a child. He is a past member of the Big Brother and Big Sisters (Elliot Lake). prior to returning to school to pursue his law degree, he coached hockey in a small Northern Ontario community. He was also involved with other minor sports organizations as a volunteer since 1984.
